DSA-2102: Digital Signage Ekonomis

The Advantech DSA-2100 Digital Signage Player receives media content such as video, audio, graphics, and text via an IP network, stores the content on its internal hard disk drive and then displays that content according to either a pre-defined playlist or commands through network input. Dalam menampilkan informasi DSA-2102 secara umum menyediakan 7 jenis template - ada yang menampilkan Video, Image dan Text secara langsung namun dengan letak yang berbeda, ada yang hanya Video dan Text saja, atau hanya dengan Video atau Image saja. Text yang di-import ke dalam DSA-2102 akan ditampilkan dalam bentuk Scrolling Ticker - bisa diisi dengan berita, prakiraan cuaca, indeks harga saham dan lain-lain. Meski begitu template-template tersebut tidak membatasi anda untuk berkreasi sebab DSA-2102 menyediakan Composer Utility yang tentunya memungkinkan anda untuk memodifikasi informasi-informasi tersebut sehingga bisa tampil se-attractive mungkin.

DSA-2102 dirancang khusus untuk selalu aktif selama 24 jam setiap hari. Ia mempunyai sistem pengamanan khusus dalam media penyimpanannya sehingga jika terjadi electric fault data yang tersimpan dalam harddisk tidak akan hilang.

Konfigurasi sistem DSA-2102 cukup dilakukan via USB, meliputi setting IP address, setting Web Server (jika anda ingin DSA-2102 mengambil data dari web server lokal maupun internet yang sebelumnya telah ditentukan), setting resolusi tampilan (monitor, tv, projector dll), setting waktu, dan setting log file. Semuanya dapat dilakukan lewat Configurator Utility bawaan player ini.

Bagi anda yang berada jauh dari lokasi DSA-2102 ini, anda bisa melakukan update content via LAN atau internet - dalam hitungan detik content baru secara langsung bisa ditayangkan.

The ADAM-4017 is a 16-bit, 8-channel analog input module that provides programmable input ranges on all channels. This module is an extremely cost-effective solution for industrial measurement and monitoring applications. Its opto-isolated inputs provide 3000 VDC of isolation between the analog input and the module, protecting the module and peripherals from damage due to high input-line voltages. ADAM-4017 offers signal conditioning, A/D conversion, ranging and RS-485 digital communication functions. The module protects your equipment from ground loops and power surges by providing optoisolation of A/D input and transformer based isolation up to 3000 VDC. The ADAM-4017 uses a 16-bit microprocessor-controlled sigma-delta A/D converter to convert sensor voltage or current into digital data. The digital data is then translated into engineering units. When prompted by the host computer, the module sends the data to the host through a standard RS-485 interface.

The ADAM-4521 is an intelligent RS-422/485 to RS-232 converter specifically designed to connect RS-422/485 devices to an RS-232 network. RS-232 is the most common transmission standard. ADAM-4520: Konverter RS-232 ke RS-422/485

Most industrial computer systems come with standard RS-232 serial ports. Though widely accepted, RS-232 has limited transmission speed, range, and networking capabilities. The RS-422 and RS-485 standards overcome these limitations by using differential voltage lines for data and control signals. The ADAM-4520/4522 converter lets you take advantage of RS-422 and RS-485 on systems originally equipped with RS-232. It transparently converts RS-232 signals into isolated RS-422 or RS-485 signals. You do not need to change your PC's hardware or your software. The ADAM-4520 lets you easily build an industrial grade, long distance communication system with standard PC hardware. It extends the communication distance by 4000 ft. (1200 m) or increases the maximum number of connected nodes by 32.

Di dunia komputer dan industri, sangat umum ditemui komunikasi data via port RS-232 yaitu port serial yang umum tersedia pada semua jenis komputer. Dengan segala kelebihannya, ia juga memiliki batasan dalam segi kecepatan dan jarak transmisi serta kemampuan koneksi jaringannya. Standar port serial lainnya yaitu RS-422 dan RS-485, melepaskan keterbatasan tersebut lewat penggunaan sinyal kontrol dan saluran voltase data yang berbeda, utamanya jika diperlukan komunikasi antar device/mesin dengan posisi dan jarak yang jauh.

Solusi kemudahan komunikasi data antara kedua port ini adalah ADAM-4520, konverter RS-232 ke RS-422/485 keluaran Advantech. Ia dapat dengan baik dan simultan merubah dan mentransmisikan data dari port RS-232 ke port RS-485 begitu juga sebaliknya tanpa perlu merubah tatanan hardware PC atau software yang sudah ada. ADAM-4520 memungkinkan anda membangun sistem komunikasi data jarak jauh berstandar industri menggunakan hardware komputer biasa. Jarak komunikasi yang dicakup oleh ADAM-4520 adalah 4000 ft (1200m) dan meningkatkan jumlah maksimum node-node yang terhubung sampai dengan 32.

DSA-3400: Dukungan HDTV di atas Windows XP Embedded

DSA-3400 is a small profile, all-in-one Windows® XPE ready network appliance and control box for digital signage applications the Intel® Core Duo processor gives it the power for HDTV decoding and multiple media content processing. This compact, easy-to-implement network appliance enables centralized control, scheduling and delivery of multimedia content through IP/Ethernet networks. Built on x86 platform and XP Embedded OS, it is easy for application development and can be integrated with PDPs (Plasma Display Panel) and LCDs with a multi-vendor networking environment. WLAN features are available as an option for locations where a wiring infrastructure is not available for network connectivity. A TV-tuner option is also available for integrating the TV function into the signage application. DSA-3400 combining with the EWF, WDT and the scheduled boot up SDK gives maximum reliability for digital signage applications.
